HORSES – JAPANESE BRUSH PAINTING

PAINTING HORSES – If there can be said that there is a formula for painting horses, it is this.   1.  Paint standing up so that your brush strokes have full body energy.  In other words, standing up to paint helps your Chi to show in your painting.  2.  Paint boldly.  3.  Use your brush to sketch the horse.  4.  Paint freely.  Do not worry about the outcome of your painting.  5.  FEEL THE SPIRIT OF THE HORSE AS YOU PAINT.

One final note.  2014 is The Year of the Horse!
