TINY WATERCOLORS OF HARBOR SEALS from my 2014 Art Journal. Each of these watercolors is approximately 2 inches by 2 inches. Harbor seals come up onto the beach to rest, regulate their body temperature and sleep. Catching them moving is a treat and these little watercolor sketches are meant to show some of the seals spirit.
ALL OF THE NEWBORN HARBOR SEAL PUPS ARE DARLING, BUT WE MUSTN’T FORGET THE YEARLING PUPS FROM LAST YEAR’S PUPPING SEASON.
They are one year old now, but still as cute and playful as ever. They love to play in the eel grass and sometimes even play fight over a branch of giant kelp sea weed! Watching last year’s babies reminds me to stay in the moment & have fun in life. It goes by just so fast.
