& SO EASY TO MAKE. Cut the origami paper just a bit longer than the egg, fold the paper in 1/2, cut strips about 1/4″ wide, but not all the way to the center. Than cut points in the edges so the paper lays flatter at the ends of the eggs. Cover the paper with glue, place the egg in the center of the paper & roll the egg up in the paper. Press the points to the egg center. You can smooth the paper down on the egg with a bone folder. I don’t worry too much about these being perfect, but that’s just me.
Note: All over print origami paper works best because solid colored origami paper shows the “bumps & bulges” if you’re not a perfectionist. 2nd Note: I bought cardboard eggs at Michael’s Crafts for $3.99 for 6 eggs. When I went back to buy more eggs, they were only $1.99.
