PAPER ART – ORIGAMI PAPER COVERED “FLOWER POTS” & BOXES

ORIGAMI / WASHI PAPER COVERED “FLOWER POTS” are made of cardboard & were purchased at a scrapbook paper store.   After I finished covering them with origami / washi paper, they needed a little something else.  I used  a Mizuhiki decoration, which my friend from Japan gave me.  These Mizuhiki were from the decorations on her wedding card envelopes so it means a lot to me to find a special use for them.

ORIGAMI / WASHI PAPER COVERED BOX – The origami / washi paper covered box is decorated with an Origami Dahlia flower.  I made another box out of card stock and used paper scraps to decorate that one.  The origami Dahlia flowers are so perfect to use as an embellishment to something.  Instructions for the Dahlia flowers are elsewhere on my website.
