BLACKBERRIES were just so pretty displayed at the farmer’s market in aqua-colored paper baskets. Later on in the week, I put my blackberries on a Japanese aqua-colored dish so I could do a small watercolor with these same colors. Blackberries always seem like eating tiny jewels to me. It doesn’t take nearly as much time to eat blackberries as it does to paint them!
