PAINTED MAGNOLIA LEAF ACCORDION BOOK

MAGNOLIA LEAVES MAKE A GREAT CANVAS TO PAINT ON.  I was inspired to do this leaf project by leaf art posts on PINTEREST.  I chose Magnolia leaves because they don’t need to be dried.  (I just put a heavy book on the to flatten them a bit.)  I used metallic acryllic paints to decorate the leaves & made an accordion book with vellum envelope pages to hold the leaves.  A paper punch was used to punch out birds & butterflies out of leaves, too & these were glued onto the vellum pages to hold the leaves.  Where my muse takes me, I will follow!
