Recently I took a workshop at the Oceanside Museum of Art called Paper Pattern Story, which was taught by Bhavna Mehta.  Bhavna is a paper cutting artist & her work is exquisite.  The workshop was to make an art journal & fill it with repetitive patterns that surround us to tell a story.  My art journal was based on a lovely dream I had many years ago.  Our final project was to take a blank piece of white paper, pretend it was a blank museum wall & create an installation.  My “museum” wall is a piece filled with movement & joy.  The butterflies are like confetti filling the air as the deer leap through the fairytale forest of dreams & happiness.
