SAN DIEGO JACARANDA TREES WITH LAVENDER FLOWERS

JACARANDA TREES are everywhere in San Diego.  Whole neighborhoods are filled with these beauties & they are all in bloom now.  In the morning when the coastal overcast sky is gray, the lavender color seems to be rich & breathing with beauty.  As the flowers finish their bloom, the petals will fall & create a lavender flower petal carpet.

CHEESE & SCRAMBLED EGGS FAJITAS RECIPE

CHEESE & SCRAMBLED EGGS FAJITAS – Another Mexican recipe with one of my collection of Mexican ceramic owls. Sometimes the La Jolla Farmer’s market here sells little baskets of all the ingredients needed to make salsa. There’s something about just feasting my eyes on produce that makes me want to go home & cook. Somehow scrambled eggs topped with a type of salsa always seems to spice up a chilly morning & I think this definitely should be cooked in pajamas or least your sweat shirt & pants!
