DAILY ART JOURNAL 2012 – San Diego has a few community gardens, which I really enjoy visiting & getting to see each individual mini garden. This was a sketch of a few of things I loved seeing here in 2012.
DAILY ART JOURNAL – SEPTEMBER 2012 – Walking along the beach at low tide stepping on kelp pods and hearing them “POP”. After Labor Day, crowds are gone, the beach returns to the locals & I’m an artist by-the-sea just having fun!
DAILY ART JOURNAL 2012 – One of the things that I collect is tiny broken bits of sea urchin shells. They are really hard to find & it takes time for my eyes to see them among the shells along the beach. Sea shell collecting slows me down. It is like a meditation on being one with nature.
