GUESS WHAT I’M EATING FOR DINNER TONIGHT? ARTICHOKES! I bought 3 at the La Jolla Farmer’s Market this morning. This is how I prepare them: pour olive oil & sprinkle Italian bread crumbs between the leaves & steam the artichokes for about 45 minutes. Lovely edible thistles!
Wonderful day with an azure sea beauty to fill my heart. Spotted a rock, which we all agreed should be named “Rabbit Rock” from now on. This rock overlooks Seal Rock off Shell Beach in La Jolla, California. Since it was low tide, the harbor seals were snoozing on the reef rocks below “Rabbit Rock”.
CUTEST LITTLE BABY OPOSSUMS EVER! The first night there was only one opossum, the 2nd night there were 3 of these cuties & last night there were four of them scampering about. They can even play “dead” and growl at the cats. Adorable little beasts finding their way in the world.
