Jacaranda trees are blooming all over San Diego now. It’s a breathtaking reminder that yet another year of my life has just flown by. Ah how fast the seasons spin by me now. It seems like only a moment ago that the Jacaranda flower petals covered the ground in a lavender carpet. I carry this beauty in my heart.
FOUR SEASONS IN A JAPANESE GARDEN – Brush paintings created in a “scroll” format. Maple trees, weeping willow, bamboo & plum blossoms with scholar rocks & gravel designs. Workshop given by Portia La Touche.
JACARANDA TREES are everywhere in San Diego. Whole neighborhoods are filled with these beauties & they are all in bloom now. In the morning when the coastal overcast sky is gray, the lavender color seems to be rich & breathing with beauty. As the flowers finish their bloom, the petals will fall & create a lavender flower petal carpet.
