USING LEAF PRINTING FOR A ONE-MINUTE BOOK!

LEAF PRINTING – Brush the backs of fresh leaves with metallic liquid acrylic paints.  Print on paper rubbing the back of the leaf with a soft piece of cloth.  Lift up the leaf to reveal the print!  Fold an 11 x 8 1/2 piece of paper into 8 sections and slit the middle 2 sections.  This one-minute book technique creates a French-fold handmade book!

“AUTUMN BLESSINGS ON THE WIND”

“AUTUMN BLESSINGS ON THE WIND” – Nature sighs as summer ends & winter is on it’s way.  Gusts of wind shake loose all the colorful leaves from surrounding trees to reveal their handsome winter silhouettes.  Stark winter beauty is on the way.

“Autumn Blessings” – small watercolor.

NATURE COLLAGE GREETING CARDS WITH BIRDS & LEAVES

NATURE COLLAGE GREETING CARDS – So soothing to cut & paste papers to make some Autumn inspired greeting cards, which I will teach to my card group in November.  Gutted an old garden and bird books for the paper ephemera inspiration.  Adding some metallic copper paint to the chestnut colored leaves to bring in some magic!  These cards will be my sample cards to give ideas of how each person will make their card uniquely theirs.
