My feral cat “Sumi-Cat” eating his breakfast in a blue willow bowl at the “Kitty Cafe”. On the right Sumi-Cat turns to look at me as he washes up after breakfast.
Two tiny 3″ x 3″ Japanese brush paintings. The blue & white one has a watercolor border at the top & bottom of the page of the blue willow dish pattern. The red border is origami paper strips with a red seal sent to me from Japan. My red seal is on these paintings of the Japanese name “Ryu-Nan” I received after studying Japanese brush painting for 10 years. Both paintings are from “Cats Galore!” a small handmade book of cats.
CATS GALORE! More watercolor paintings from my handmade book. This post includes the cover open to the first inside pages. The old tomcat has punched-out origami paper flowers added, the cat in the soup bowl has a hand-painted rice paper flower, leaves & a jewel & the brown cat has a store-bought bird embellishment added. The inside cover page has washi tape border added.
